A documentary film about a small boy and how television arrives to  the kingdom of Bhutan. Pyangke, 8, lives with his mother in a small  mountain village in Bhutan. His mother cannot afford to educate him so  he’s sent to a monestary to study to become a monk. Meanwhile the  king of Bhutan is finally legalising television broadcasting in his  kingdom. The western popular culture arrives to Bhutan and to Pyangke’s  home villages.
