Blue Baby

Klaus Härö's new film tells the story of two women meeting in the midst of a crisis in the healthcare industry. Inka (Laura Birn), a specialist nurse, does her job with a big heart, under the pressure of demanding working conditions and her own family life. Leni (Oona Airola) and Karin (Jussi Vatanen) are devastated when their newborn baby is suddenly rushed to intensive care. The nurses plan to strike for better working conditions, and in a moment of uncertainty, the confused Leni finds support and hope in Inka. However, Inka is faced with difficult decisions. Both women act out of love and duty – but how can you make the right choice when your own life and the lives of others are at stake?
